The Giti Tire Motorsport liveried trucks of Team Oliver Racing (TOR) have revealed a new look ahead of the 2024 British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC) season opener at Brands Hatch.

Taking place over the weekend of March 31 and April 1, the bonneted VOLVO VNL of Stuart Oliver and MAN TGX 18.480 of Michael Oliver feature stunning new grey, yellow and black racing colours along with several modifications in their racing set-up.

For the third consecutive season the manufacturer will maintain its role as Official Partner and Exclusive Tyre Supplier of the BTRC with all trucks racing on the Giti Race-Tuned v1 competition truck tyres in size 315/70R22.5. This year also marks its sixth season within the BTRC.

After Brands Hatch the competition moves onto Pembrey in May, Thruxton in July, Donington in August for the massively popular Convoy in the Park, Snetterton and Le Mans in September and the season finale back at Brands Hatch in November.

All Giti Tire Motorsport activities are as global automotive tyre partner of Sparco®, the world’s leading manufacturer of motorsport safety systems and racing equipment, which is based upon the companies’ shared philosophies of ‘racing, performance, research and development and continuous safety.”

Tony McHugh, TBR Sales and Marketing Director UK at Giti Tire, said: “Every season gets better-and-better with greater brand presence, bigger crowds and more social media activity, add our exclusive VIP race day events for Giti customers in the UK and Europe and the investment is totally worthwhile.”

Stuart Oliver, team principle and main driver at TOR, added: “We are certainly looking forward to 2024, both trucks have had a makeover and they are looking fantastic. We would like to thank Giti for their continued sponsorship and support as we prepare for more exciting viewing over the next few months.”
