Sparks Transport (C. Sparks & Sons Ltd), one of the largest private owned transport companies in the south-west of England, has expanded its trailer fleet and placed a substantial order for new trailers with Cartwright. Established in 1933, the Sparks fleet currently comprises 100 trucks and 200 trailers and in addition to nationwide distribution, the company also offers a warehousing service in its BRC approved 120,000 sq. ft. nine-acre facility.
A new customer of Cartwright, all the trailers are fleet curtainsided straight frame tri-axle and are EN 12642XL rated for the front and rear frames as well as the curtains.
Managing Director of Sparks Transport Jonathan Sparks, commented: “We have used Cartwright before through the company’s Rentals division and have made the decision to go for new build trailers which will add to our current fleet.
“The trailers will operate throughout the country from our company sites in Glastonbury and Bridgwater,” he added.
