Motward Ltd, specialists in the sale, purchase, repair and recycling of all types of wooden pallets, has recently purchased new Cartwright tall curtainsiders to add to its modern fleet of trucks and trailers.

The company, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, has taken delivery of 13.65 postless Cartwright curtainsiders – each 4.85m in height and with additional strapping to hold the curtains open when loading due to the flat and often windy conditions at its headquarters on the former American airfield near the A1/A14 at Alconbury.

Motward is a new customer for Cartwright on new build, although the company has rented trailers from Cartwright Rentals in the past.

The new trailers will be used for Motward’s delivery and collection service to a broad range of customers who benefit from the company’s diverse services which include reconditioned pallets, contract pallet repairs and wood waste recycling.

Cartwright has also assisted Motward with its livery requirements on the new curtainsiders which promote the company’s 40th anniversary.

Jason Tolhurst, Managing Director of Motward Ltd commented: “The trailers from Cartwright are excellent and build quality and strength has so far exceeded my expectations.

“A major benefit is that with these new curtainsiders we are getting another 52 pallets per load which is a big difference.

“The fact that a lot of the features we required are standard on the trailer was another reason we chose Cartwright.  We are very happy,” he added.
