A fleet of 20 eye-catching new Bibby Distribution trailers are giving confectionery manufacturer Tangerine maximum brand visibility as they transport Britain’s best-loved sweets and snacks across the UK.

The EN XL-rated SDC curtainsiders, that each have a 26-pallet capacity, have been liveried with instantly-recognisable designs featuring Butterkist Popcorn, Fruit Salad Softies and Refreshers Softies, doubling their use as mobile billboards.

Bibby Distribution’s investment in the new trailers was a crucial sweetener in the 3PL winning Tangerine’s distribution contract.

Steve Webster, Tangerine’s Head of Logistics and Customer Service, says: “From the very outset we agreed we wanted a number of branded trailers. They’re very distinctive and bright, with vibrant colours that reflect our brand identity. The new trailers are very visible and are a great advert for Tangerine – you can’t miss them!”

Webster adds: “It’s a great use of what would otherwise be wasted advertising space. We’re already looking at plans to add more colourful designs to the fleet based on the strong start to our working partnership with Bibby Distribution.”

As part of the agreement with Tangerine, family favourites including Black Jacks, Dib Dabs, Sherbet Fountains and Wham Bars, are transported from the confectioner’s six factories before being consolidated at Bibby Distribution’s flagship Wakefield site and then transported across the UK.
