Four long-serving members of the Scania Bridgwater service team have passed a remarkable milestone, racking up 95 years combined service between them. The achievements of the four – Escalation Technicians Graham Taylor (20 years) and Stephen Vickery (25 years) and Master Technicians Paul Stubbs (25 years) and Dennis Carter (25 years) – were celebrated recently with each receiving a long service commemorative certificate and loyalty bonus, plus a bottle of champagne presented by Scania Bridgwater General Manager, Bruce Candy.

Commenting on the long service awards, known as Scania Milestones, Bruce Candy says, “All of us at Scania Bridgwater are immensely proud of Graham, Stephen, Paul and Dennis.  As Scania has developed and grown over the years, so too have they.  Today, Paul and Dennis are Scania Master Technicians while Graham and Stephen have progressed a step further to become Scania Escalation Technicians.  As such, they are core to our fantastic team at Scania Bridgwater which is dedicated to providing the very highest levels of service to our customers 24/7.”

Housed on a three acre site close to junction 23 of the M5, Scania Bridgwater is a flagship service centre for Scania in the South West.  The site, which opened in 2018, provides employment for 27 staff and has been constructed to Scania’s global dealership template for efficient and sustainable dealer premises.  In addition to providing state-of-the-art commercial vehicle maintenance facilities, the site has been developed in accordance with an environmental management plan to preserve local wildlife and minimise the site’s impact on its surroundings.
