The introduction of complimentary after-sales support vouchers with all retail purchases of DAF Certified used commercial vehicles from Ryder Used Approved forms part of the enhanced offering. Worth £350, each voucher can be used in full or part payment for DAF parts when work is conducted across DAF’s 155-strong dealer network in the UK and Ireland. Ryder customers will be issued with one voucher (valid for 12 months from date of activation) for each qualifying vehicle purchased from Ryder Used Approved.
In addition, Ryder is also providing free delivery and a five-day money-back guarantee if for any reason customers are not completely satisfied with their purchase of one of Ryder’s Certified or Verified used vehicles.

The much-improved search function allows users to make more detailed, faster and informed searches, with the ability to save vehicles for review at a later date. Furthermore, all online vehicle adverts are now clearly classified with colour-coded icons – Gold, Silver and Bronze – to give a clear indication of their classification and condition:
- Gold – Certified with low mileage, in premium condition, with six months’ MOT and a 90-day powertrain warranty
- Silver – Verified with mid-range mileage, in good condition, with three months’ MOT and a 30-day powertrain warranty
- Bronze – great value, sold as seen
“Users now have access to an increased number of vehicle images to enable them to make more informed choices than ever before,” said Dickinson.
A new Compare function also allows users to select up to three vehicles and compare each advertisement against selected features such as mileage, MOT dates and location, while the addition of a Share feature lets users easily share a PDF summary document of a particular vehicle/s of interest.
The new Google map location functionality lets users calculate the distance and route for collection should the user wish to proceed with a vehicle purchase from Ryder’s flagship Used Approved Sales and Service Centre – a central nine-acre hub on the outskirts of Burton upon Trent in Staffordshire.
