HOYER PETROLOG UK has agreed an extension of its contract with Puma Energy UK for a further five years, running until 31st October 2026.

The contract for delivery of bitumen on behalf of Puma Bitumen, a division of Puma Energy UK, from the Stolthaven Dagenham terminal and ABP South Wales’s Newport South Dock, will see HOYER developing its operations at both locations with the addition of a further five vehicles to support Puma Bitumen’s growth in demand.

The contract was extended without a tender process and reflects both high customer service and safety performance.

Operations Director of HOYER PETROLOG UK LTD, Jonathan Lawrence said: “The extension of this contact is excellent news for HOYER, securing significant turnover per year and providing job security to staff, managers and drivers associated with this business.

Puma’s willingness to renew this contract without going to tender is testament to the strong relationship we have, underpinned by an excellent SHEQ and customer service performance. Congratulations to everyone who has contributed to this outstanding achievement.”

Allan Davison, Managing Director of HOYER Petrolog UK added: “Puma Energy is a global energy company operating across 48 countries and has been a valued customer of HOYER in the UK since 2015.

We are committed to building and developing this close relationship with one of the largest suppliers of bitumen products to the asphalt and road surfacing industry across the UK.”

Sean Salt, Puma Bitumen’s UK Commercial Operations and Logistics Manager, said: “The past year has certainly presented exceptional circumstances to challenge a physical, logistics dependent, business. Despite these challenges, and with a mutual respect, close co-operation, and a belief in constant improvement and new innovation, Puma Energy (UK) Ltd and HOYER Petrolog continue to drive forward a thriving business together.”
