Specialist frozen food and ice-cream distributors Eden Farm Hulleys has taken delivery of two new DAF LF210 refrigerated vehicles, as well as a new DAF CF340 FAR for sister company Squirrels, which have been supplied by Hexagon Leasing.

The two companies are part of the Kitwave Wholesale Group and the new vehicles will operate from a new purpose built 73,000 square foot warehousing facility in Luton.

Jason Brooksbank, Group Transport Manager at Eden Farm Hulleys said: “The vehicles are part of a 160-strong fleet operating across the UK and are replacing end of lease and contract hire vehicles as part of the company’s ongoing fleet replacement programme in time for the busy summer period.”

The two DAF LF210 vehicles are DVS compliant and boast a Gray & Adams body with Thermo King T800 fridges offering multi zone temperature control, which is essential for helping Eden Farm to grow its national chilled distribution service.

The Squirrel truck comprises of a DAF CF340 chassis, Bodywork Solutions body and is fully DVS compliant.

All of the vehicles have full CMS CCTV in the cab and exterior options, telematics and rear proximity aids.

Hexagon Leasing has been supplying vehicles to Eden Farm for the last 5 years, including 40 over the last 12 months. The nationwide company offers rental, contract hire, fleet management and commercial vehicle sales.
