This April, Vacu-Lug will be informing visitors to The Commercial Vehicle Show how their fleet can benefit – economically, environmentally and legally – from the company’s tyre management service.

Vacu-Lug will be taking the opportunity to demonstrate to those responsible for fleet safety, compliance and efficiency exactly how selecting Vacu-Lug as their tyre management provider will significantly assist them in ensuring tyre targets are met and risks are eradicated.

On Vacu-Lug’s stand – which can be found in Hall 4 – the team will also be showcasing their mobile app, VMS Mobile, which the company released to the market in the later end of 2017. The first of its kind to be released in the industry, VMS Mobile has taken tyre management to the next level, by providing customers with remote access to their vehicle data. It summarises individual vehicle information held online within VMS Online (Vacu-Lug’s Management System) and Vacu-Lug say it is an “essential tool for vehicle monitoring and compliance control”.

Not forgetting the importance of sustainability, a selection of Vacu-Lug’s retread tyres will also be on show, including products from the Logistik range, which have been specifically built using production techniques and technologies used in aircraft and high-performance tyres to give operators the lowest costs per kilometre, whilst also increasing fuel efficiency. The company have also developed a tool for their customers to allow them to calculate how much carbon they have saved since selecting Vacu-Lug’s retread tyres, and the customer is able to produce and print their very own carbon report at the click of a button.

Working with their environmental partner, Murfitts Industries, who recycle all of Vacu-Lug’s waste tyres, visitors will also be able to see what happens to waste tyres at the end of their lives.

The Vacu-Lug stand – which is number 4G110 – can be found in Hall 4 at The Commercial Vehicle 2018, which takes place between the 24th and 26th April at Birmingham’s NEC.
