Renault Trucks returns to Truckfest Peterborough 2017 (30th April – 1st May), on a mission: to showcase its highly acclaimed range of light and heavy commercial vehicles and to celebrate the valuable contribution made by everyone who works in the commercial vehicle industry with its #proudprofessionals campaign.

This year’s big draw is a flagship Range T520 4×2 High Maxispace with flat floor and sleeper cab that provides a superb working and living environment on the road. Visitors can also discover twelve further vehicles from across the highly-acclaimed Renault Trucks range, featuring a Range T380 6×2 rigid, as well as a T480 tag with tipping gear and a T430 4×2 tractor unit.

Representing Renault Trucks’ construction range is a Range K480 8×4 Thompson-bodied tipper carefully configured to suit a range of multi-axle off-road tipper operations.

From Renault Trucks’ Distribution Range, a Range D320 4×2 and a Renault Trucks Master Dropside from the ‘Ready for Business’ range will also be on show.

In addition to two examples of Renault Trucks’ Used Truck range, there will be four extra Range T vehicles representing Denholm, Fred Sherwood Transport, Europa Freight and a rigid with a 50t per metre crane from D&D Transport.

“Truckfest Peterborough is one of the highlights of the industry calendar and the biggest gathering of people who are passionate about trucking, making it the perfect platform for our #proudprofessionals campaign,” says Nigel Butler, Commercial Director, Renault Trucks.  “All too often, the commercial vehicle industry gets a negative press, yet trucks are vital to modern life: when trucks stop moving, UK plc stops moving. We want to recognise and shine a light on everyone that works in transport and logistics, from technicians to truck drivers, to change public perception and generate a sense of pride and self-belief in every individual.”

To celebrate the launch of the #proudprofessionals campaign, Renault Trucks invites visitors to join them at their stand and share a selfie with the hashtag #proudprofessionals. All photographs posted to twitter will be in with a chance of winning £250 of official Renault Trucks merchandise.
