Carlisle-based family business K&S McKenzie Ltd. are set to double the size of their business over night with the opening of a new store in the City.

The motor factor business, run by brothers Stuart and Alastair McKenzie, has been in Carlisle for over 50 years, and 2020 will see them double the size of the business as they open their new Tool Centre.

Stuart McKenzie, Director says; “We want to make our Tool Centre stand out from other hardware and auto parts stores in the area. Our focus will be on not only excellent customer service, but also on offering a premier experience to people when they walk through the door there will always be someone on-hand to help. We want our Tool Centre to be somewhere that anyone can enter and feel welcome, from tradesmen to those carrying out home DIY projects”.

Once open, the Tool Centre will have regular special offers running, not to mention a weekly “Internet Beater” product. Internet Beaters are products that will be priced lower than those that appear for sale via online retailers – it is hoped this will encourage people into the store as people can be confident of getting a great deal.

The new store will be opening next month and will sell a variety of products, from big name brands such as Sealey, Britool, Metabo, Jasic, Chicago Pneumatic, and many more.
