An elderly man believed to be in his 60’s has been killed after crashing his Mercedes A-Class into the back of a parked HGV.
The lorry was parked in a lay-by in North Yorkshire on the A168 near Thirsk.
The incident happened at the weekend, in which the HGV driver was uninjured.
