East Anglia’s award winning commercial dealer group, TruckEast Ltd achieves both the SafeContractor and SafePQQ accreditation, demonstrating its commitment to both health and safety and ethical compliance in the workplace.

Priding itself on its service levels to over 2,000 customers, spanning multiple industries, the high standards of health and safety in the workplace are vital to everyday operations at TruckEast. Having been recognised as an accredited safety contractor for some time now, this is the first time that TruckEast is proud to add the SafePQQ seal of approval too.

An extension of the SafeContractor scheme, SafePQQ goes beyond health and safety and demonstrates that TruckEast is a safe, ethical and sustainable organisation. Areas such as corporate social responsibility, environmental impact, quality, data protection and financial stability come under the microscope. This is additional to the vetting process that examines historical records and health and safety procedures in order to obtain the SafeContractor accreditation.

“Central to our operation, our approach to health, safety and compliance keep our people and our customers safe. It’s embedded into our workplace culture and we’re proud of the standards that we achieve; having the SafeContractor seals of approval enable us to prove those standards” comments Compliance and HR Manager, Helen Moore.

Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises excellence in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK to ensure they employ contractors with sound health and safety policies in place.
