WEST Midlands’ commercial truck sales specialists C&W Commercials Ltd is delighted to announce that Owen Green has joined the company to enhance its sales team and further develop its customer base.
Owen brings a wealth of experience within the used truck industry to his new role, having spent 20 years working for Volvo Trucks directly as well as a Volvo Truck franchised dealer. Over the last three-and-a-half years he has set up and run the Volvo Economy used sales site in Coventry.
He says: “As a married man with three grown-up children I understand the value of family, so I am really excited to have joined C&W Commercials, a strong family-run business with a great name in the industry.”
Owen adds: “I started in 1981 as an HGV apprentice mechanic, and started my sales career in 1988. I’m now looking forward to using my knowledge and experience to help build and enhance C&W’s total vehicle offer to customers, and to attract new customers to the business.”
C&W Commercials Ltd was set up in 2002 and now employs 10 people. Last year it moved to its current 2.5 acre site in Wednesbury, purpose-built for the sale of used trucks, and that move has helped sales figures to top 450 per year.
Warren Cole, Managing Director and founder of the firm, said: “Owen’s industry knowledge and sales experience has already made him an integral part of the C&W team. This new appointment shows that we are committed in our continued growth plans.”
Darren Garland, Sales Manager for the family-owned business, added: “Owen has joined at a time when the firm is enjoying a period of growth. Moving to this site in August 2015 has already boosted sales, and we are sure Owen will continue his successful career with us.”
