O’Donovan Waste has earned its Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Gold status for the twelfth consecutive year, demonstrating impressive ongoing commitment and dedication to achieving commendable standards of compliance in road safety, fleet innovation and driver training.

O’Donovan was the first independent haulier to be awarded gold status 12 years ago and the business has continued to invest heavily in its operations and working practices which has resulted in retaining the stringently audited accreditation every year since.  To achieve a FORS gold standard, fleet operators must demonstrate and evidence exemplary levels of compliance based upon safety, efficiency, and environmental protection. O’Donovan has ensured it has continued to excel in these areas and has consistently exceeded and surpassed the audit criteria, demonstrating year on year improvements and exceeding best practice requirements.  In 2022, O’Donovan went even further by switching its entire fleet to using solely HVO Biofuel massively reducing its environmental impacts.

Jacqueline O’Donovan, managing director of O’Donovan said, “We are committed to being a FORS Gold accredited business and achieving this certification for twelve consecutive years clearly shows our dedication to ensuring operational excellence in our working practices across the board.  The level of determination and effort that our team demonstrates on a daily basis contributes to our standing and reputation as a supplier and employer of choice as we strive to continuously surpass standards and deliver an exemplar service to our clients.”
