Container haulier Maritime Transport has acquired Roadways Container Logistics for an undisclosed fee.
The deal, which was completed last week, sees Felixstowe-based Maritime take on the entire RCL business who employs almost 400 staff, runs a fleet in excess of 240+ vehicles, and has sites in various UK locations including Felixstowe, Leeds, Manchester, and Southampton.
Maritime have rubber stamped their status as a container haulage giant with over 1,300+ vehicles now in operation.
