L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage has taken delivery of 17 new vehicles from MV Commercial to fast track its fleet expansion programme.

The order includes eight DAF CF 450 8×4 tippers fitted with Fruehauf tipping bodies, two Scania P410 8x4s with Thompsons tipper bodies and five Volvo FMX 420 8x4s, also with tipper bodywork from Thompsons.

They join the company’s FORS Gold accredited 140-strong fleet, together with two Scania G450 8×2 rigids, each mounted with Sterling Group plant bodies featuring Cheesewedge fold-forward ramps and HIAB 558 EP-5 cranes. Lynch is committed to continually upgrading its fleet, investing in the very latest vehicles.

Based at Lynch’s headquarters in Hemel Hempstead and depots around Birmingham, the new vehicles will be transporting materials and aggregates throughout the UK as well as doing on-site work.

Stephen Bremner, Fleet Director at Lynch, says: “These vehicles are important additions to the fleet, helping our customers meet ever more demanding delivery schedules.”

It’s the first time Lynch has sourced vehicles from MV Commercial – and Stephen is delighted with the company’s service.

“Our business is rapidly growing and we needed to refresh and expand our fleet. MV Commercial met the requirements and timescales for the vehicles we needed,” he says.

“Amid the challenges around limited stocks and supplies in the UK market, MV Commercial has definitely delivered on its promises and that was so important in enabling us to meet our customers’ demands.”

Established in 1980, L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage provides nationwide operated and self-drive plant hire and haulage and transport services to the construction industry, serving sectors including civil engineering, public utilities and highways maintenance.
