Wardle and Keach has added two new MAN vehicles to the current 22-strong fleet after helping MD Simon Elliott through a number of house moves.

Sue Henry, director and general manager of the Northamptonshire-based firm, explained: “We moved Simon’s family to Ireland and back when he took up his role with MAN, and he was a pleasure to deal with.

“We are a family-run firm, with my husband Paul a fellow director and senior sales manager, our son James the operations manager and daughter Hannah Collins the compliance manager, and we like to do business with people who we know and trust. The MAN vehicles are fitted by Bespoke Bodies, another company that we enjoy doing business with, and they were ready to go under the Trucks To Go scheme.

“They will be going on the road under Pickfords livery. We are the first company in the area to operate under the new Pickfords Partners scheme which is still relatively new.”

John Sturt, sales director with Bespoke Bodies in Warrington, added: “We pointed Wardle and Keach in the direction of these two vehicles through our established relationship with MAN.

“We have been building quality bodies for the last 45 years and knew that with a quality MAN chassis it would be a case of total quality running throughout the vehicle.

“We had the bodies fitted and the vehicles were ready under MAN’s Trucks To Go scheme. It is launching MAN in to the removals arena.”

Adam Maher, service partner development manager at Pickfords, said: “We are looking forward to seeing Wardle and Keach’s newest vehicles, the MANs, in the Pickfords livery.
