Ashford International Truckstop has won the award for the best Large Truckstop of the Year 2019.
The GSE Group owned site, close to junction 10 of the M20 at Waterbrook Park, was nominated by its customers for the awards, which are organised by the industry’s national trucking newspaper, Truckstop News.
The award comes as construction of the new multi-million pound 28,000 square feet truckstop, located close to the original one, is well under way and set to open in the Spring of 2020. The overall size of the new lorry park is 20 acres and will provide 660 HGV parking spaces.
The existing truckstop is open 24 hours, seven days a week, and offers secure and guarded parking alongside a shop and a gym with the latest fitness equipment. The restaurant provides excellent freshly cooked meals, offering healthy options throughout the day and night.
It is further complemented by a big screen TV sports lounge, friendly bar and lounge, laundry facilities and free WiFi for customers.
