In its forth year, Swedefest Truck Show is a two day event which celebrates two tribes of trucks, Scania and Volvo.
Last year’s event saw a record of 282 Scania and Volvo trucks, with some travelling hundreds of miles to attend the show. The ratio of Scania to Volvo was 168 to 114!
Over 700 people attending the show were able to experience Scania trucks in the age range of 1971 – 2018 and Volvos between from 1975 – 2018 parked up at the show. Just like last year, 2019’s event will see trucks parked in chronological order, from eldest to newest, the two big names facing opposite each other in the show ground.
This year, Swedefest will have Scania and Volvo manufacturers attending the event, as well as other traders including Tranztech, Autosmart and Michelin.
Join us in celebrating Scania’s 50th anniversary of the V8 engine, and Volvo’s 25th anniversary of the FH engine. Based in the Mid Suffolk Show ground in Stonham Aspal, trade stands, food stalls, an on site bar, children’s play area and a disco on Saturday night, will all be available to those who attend.
Have a walk around the trucks, meet the drivers, share their passion for the vehicles that deliver all the products and goods we take for granted on a daily basis.
You can also enjoy a family day out with everything that Stonham Barns has to offer including shopping, adventure golf, teapot pottery, owl sanctuary and not forgetting the car boot on Sunday Morning.
The showground has wheelchair access and toilets. Dogs are welcome on site as long as they are on the leash and cleaned up after.
There are trophies to be won for each marque and class.
