Truck dealer Imperial Commercials Hull has landed two major awards in quick session following exceptional business performance in 2017. On the international stage, the Hedon Road sales dealership in Hull picked up a coveted Gold Award at DAF Trucks’ International Dealer Awards in Seville and, shortly after, Dealer of the Year – the foremost dealer award from DAF Trucks in the UK.
With 136 locations making up the UK DAF Dealer network, and almost 1,200 locations across Europe, Imperial Commercials’ successes are an outstanding achievement for a business of its size, out-performing other leading DAF Dealers.
Judging for the UK Dealer of the Year award was set against key performance areas including sales, service, parts and prerequisite targets where Imperial Commercials outscored all other DAF Dealers. Many of its customers in the region are supported by Imperial’s service dealer locations in Doncaster, Grimsby, Scunthorpe and York – all these dealerships scoring above the ‘A-Grade’ threshold which take into account KPIs such as MoT pass-rates and DAFaid roadside assistance performance.
Imperial Commercials’ Gold Award on the international stage is an equally impressive achievement for the Hull truck dealership, having been recognised alongside nine other DAF Dealers from no fewer than 1,200 locations across Europe. Imperial Commercials’ business performance was measured against truck sales, Repair & Maintenance contracts, Parts sales, and, importantly, its customer support programme.
Sukhdev Singh, Regional Director at Imperial Commercials, collected both awards on behalf of the dealership, saying, “What a fantastic accomplishment to be honoured by the DAF Trucks organisation, both on the national and European scene, and in the company of so many outstanding DAF Dealers. At the same UK awards event, Imperial Commercials in Halesowen, West Midlands, was announced as Used Truck Dealer of the Year.
