Elddis Transport will catch the eye of many with the colourful livery on their new ‘Mega Trailer’ from Lawrence David. The Cushelle branding is a fan favourite, with Kenny Koala taking centre stage. At 15.65m in length and 4.90m in height, it is currently the largest trailer in the UK. Lawrence David’s VLT’s are renowned for their fuel saving capabilities. Allowing operators to carry more pallets in each load helps reduce CO² emissions. Lawrence David actively encourage operators to make use of the extra capacity that’s on offer.
The pillared curtainsider has an all bolted construction and bodywork that exceeds EN 12642-XL load containment standards. Its straight frame tri-axle design includes ‘follow steer’ to assist when cornering. Galvanised steel corner pillars and top corner cappings increase the lifespan of the trailer. Inside the trailer, 15 pairs of Load Retaining Straps are attached to Lawrence David’s exclusive track and valance. A single piece alloy roof sheet provides strength and stability while remaining lightweight.
