British truck mounted forklift manufacturer and supplier, Loadmac, has recently expanded their team with the introduction of UK Sales Manager, Matt Scott. With many years in truck mounted forklift sales, Matt joins Loadmac with a wealth of experience, extensive understanding of the market and specialised product knowledge.

Based in Ross on Wye, Loadmac specialise in the design and manufacture of high quality truck mounted forklifts (TMFs). Their 825iSR product is already a market leader in Australia, but Loadmac are now focussing their attention on the domestic market.

For the past 10 years British-owned Loadmac has manufactured the only TMF designed and built in Britain. At the start of January 2017, Loadmac established a nationwide dealer network as part of their plans to grow their UK customer base. The appointment of Matt Scott represents the next stage of this strategy, with the UK Sales Manager role created to support Loadmac’s existing and future customer base alongside their dealer network; growing sales of the proven Loadmac 825iSR, and the new 220iR due to be released later this year.

Company Director, Mark Hignett, explains, “Loadmac has an outstanding presence in Australia, New Zealand and the US – all tough environments technically and commercially. With Brexit forcing many manufacturers to pull out of the UK market, we took this opportunity not only to fill the gaps, but to take the UK by storm with our newest contender, the 220iR.”

The smaller 220iR machine features a compact and lightweight design, specifically created with the UK market in mind. With short HGV overhang, low unladen weight and autophoretic rust proofing, Mark expects the 220iR to be a market favourite when it is released later this year.

“We understand that for UK customers – farmers, suppliers and distribution companies – the 825iSR isn’t always the right choice. The 220iR product will be a more compact version, perfect for every day small bulk standard distribution. We envisage high demand for this small but mighty machine with Matt’s support and our growing customer base.”

Matt Scott added, “I feel privileged to be involved with a company such as Loadmac, and I look forward to taking the reins of the UK market and helping Loadmac to gain positive market share.”
