Scania, DAF, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks and Iveco lead the way at Truckfest Peterborough 2017 with some fantastic examples of their latest truck and van related products and services. Over 2500 competing trucks arrived en-mass to the East of England Showground over the bank holiday weekend of the 30th April – 1st May 2017 which was a record breaking number, combine this with over 80k attending over the course of the weekend. A fantastic weekend overall!
Scania attended the show with many of the new “Next Generation” vehicles liveried in customers colours as well as some demonstrators for the truckers and the visitors to the show to climb in and take a look at the new Trucks close up, DAF presented many of its customers vehicles and premiered in public for the first time the new DAF XF, Volvo Trucks had many key exhibits from their extensive range as well as including for the first time the “White Knight” the fastest Truck in the world! Iveco brought many of their innovative range of vehicles including the now famous Stralis NP that travelled the 837 miles from Lands’ End to John O’Groats on a single tank of Liquefied Natural Gas. Renault brought Trucks to showcase its highly acclaimed range of light and heavy commercial vehicles and to celebrate the valuable contribution made by everyone who works in the commercial vehicle industry with its #proudprofessionals campaign. Mercedes-benz attended the show with a vast range of customer and demonstration vehicles as well as wowing the crowds with the Bavarian Stompers in the Mercedes-Benz entertainment area.
Truckfest brings together a melting pot of truckers from all over the UK and Europe, Traders/suppliers who supply the truck industry with services and products reported brisk business during the Truckfest Peterborough Show.
