Another fleet expansion at Barnes Logistics

Barnes Logistics, one of the UK’s leading logistics and warehousing companies, has announced that it has acquired an additional fifteen trailers to add to its growing fleet.  The new trailers were purchased to help service the continuing demand the company is experiencing for its logistics and distribution operations.

 

The new EN 12642-XL rated trailers will be built by Lawrence David Ltd thanks to their unique pillarless construction.  The XL style is also manufactured to a higher standard than normal trailers providing a higher level of security.  The trailers will feature aerodynamic front deflector and rear roof air diffuser to reduce carbon footprint and increase fuel efficiency as well as digitally printed Amoursheet ’plus’ tapered load bearing curtains.

 

Barnes Logistics serves the UK’s motor manufacturing industry which over the last year has seen a 10 year high in production, up 3.9% on previous years, and a 2.7% increase in exports.  This industry growth has helped create the demand for Barnes Logistics’ who specialize in the delivery of ‘Just in time’ contracts that are so critical to the automotive industry.
