Today marks the one year anniversary of Saxton Haulage Ltd in operation, a Norfolk based transport company which was formed following the acquisition of Balaam Haulage founded 30 years earlier, who, at the time, operated locally with only two trucks.
The company has gone from strength to strength over the last year – now boasting a fleet of ten trucks.
Zane Saxton, company Director of Saxton Haulage puts this success down to both their unique customer service, and the team of passionate people who work with him. Zane said “We wouldn’t be where we are today were it not for the hard work and dedication of the team. Our growth is testament to our ongoing commitment to ensuring the customer is at the heart of every business decision we make”.
As they continue to grow Saxton Haulage are seeking to employ more qualified drivers to join their team. They pride themselves on providing opportunities to people who have a passion and interest in the trucking industry, but who may otherwise struggle to get a foot in the door due to not having the necessary industry experience. In the near future the firm hopes to start up a young drivers training programme where anyone wishing to join the industry but has no qualifications is given that initial opportunity and can develop within the company and thereafter reap the benefits.
