ESG Group Ltd, one of the UK’s leading independent glass processors has added three new specialist Renault Master 3.5T glass carrier box vans to their fleet, operating from a 60,000sq foot production facility they are proud to deliver one of the largest product ranges in their market within the UK.

The vehicles have been supplied through Seven Asset Management’s Contract Hire Plus service, a continuation of a partnership which initially began in 2014; since then ESG have benefited from the extremely high levels of customer service and support that Seven Asset provide.

The market that ESG operates within requires extremely high reliability of deliveries, as they provide bespoke safety glass to most of the UK’s busiest airports, train stations and some of Europe’s biggest buildings. This in turn, places a high emphasis on achieving minimal downtime. Seven Asset efficiently manage any downtime with their specialist in-house customer care team who are available 24/7/365, utilising the latest technology and IT systems to track defects, breakdowns and services. Added support is offered through a team of fully qualified mobile fleet engineers, providing pre-emptive maintenance and on-site repairs to further reduce the likelihood of any potential downtime.

Load security is a key focus area for ESG when moving such heavy, yet fragile and expensive glass. This is addressed by the specification of extra support stanchions in addition to the detachable internal and external glass racking systems. As well as this the vehicles are also fitted with a VUE forward and reverse camera kit with 5” monitors.

Steve Cole, Deputy MD at Seven Asset Management, commented “we are delighted to continue our working relationship with ESG, supporting their continued growth as a business. The new vehicles enabled us to utilise our vast knowledge of the specialist commercial vehicle market, assisting ESG to ensure all aspects of the build were covered. We anticipate that these new purpose designed vehicles will be a real asset to their business.”
