Seven Asset Management secure the latest batch of fleet additions for long standing customer Vetspeed Ltd on a full Contract Hire basis. Vetspeed, like Seven, have a strong customer focused approach, enabling them to deliver a truly individual service with diligence and care.

Vetspeed have won a number of new business contracts, as a result of this Seven worked alongside them to find the right solution and vehicle specification for their growing operational requirements. The delivery consisted of two brand-new 3.5 tonne long wheel base Volkswagen Crafter CR35 Trendline models, both of which were fitted with a full Coolfreeze conversion and ADR boards as well as a five camera VUE system.

The high level of service and consistency provided by Seven is a vital component in this well-established relationship. As part of the full Contract Hire Plus service provided by Seven, all maintenance, defects and breakdowns are managed by the specialist team at Seven’s Head Office in Ipswich which provides a 24-hour, 365-day helpline. The nationwide network established by Seven, as well as the utilisation of their specialist mobile technicians, means that Vetspeed are always close to a Seven point of contact ensuring any unexpected issues are resolved expediently.

Vetspeed also benefit from a bespoke KPI report every month that has been set up by Seven to provide information about the current status of their fleet. These KPI’s provide full transparency about any downtime that may have been incurred throughout the month, detailing the reason for downtime, action taken and overall time off the road. As well as this Seven provide statistics about current vehicle mileages in comparison to their overall mileage allowance, enabling Vetspeed to ensure that their vehicles are operating to their maximum capacity.

Further additions are in the build pipeline with four Mercedes Benz Sprinter long wheel base vans, as well as two new 26 tonne double deck rigid specialist vehicles also currently in build and due to enter service later this year.

Steve Cole, Managing Director at Seven Asset commented “We are delighted that Vetspeed chose us for their latest fleet expansion requirements, allowing us to build further on the strong relationship while supporting their business grow further. Seven Asset boast some of the highest levels of customer renewals in the commercial vehicle market, which we believe provides clear recognition of the exceptional service standards that we provide in an extremely competitive market.”
