When seeking to invest in a new curtainsider trailer for the launch of a new service for its expanding recycling business, Welshpool based Parry & Evans’ chose Cartwright.

The family run business, which was established nearly 60 years ago, is one of the UK’s premier recycling operations. Its commitment to excellence in all areas of their business in creating bespoke solutions for its customers mirrors Cartwright’s ethics.

Parry & Evans is a new customer for Cartwright who worked very closely with senior management to create a trailer that would be an ideal for their new service.

Special features on the trailer include a Moffett forklift at the rear of the trailer with added weights. Other features include ENXL rating on the body and curtains, an 7.2 ton load bearing  ISO rated floor and a Clearspan cant rail.

The company is now operating the trailer throughout Wales, The Midlands and the north west of England, with daily collections from their sites in Welshpool and Deeside.

Lee Evans, Director of Parry & Evans commented: ”We handle all grades of waste
paper and recycling, from plastic to cardboard and we needed a trailer for a new service involving collections from customers who don’t have their own forklifts. So, the solution was to have a trailer with a Moffett at the rear.

“We were impressed with Cartwright as they are a family run business like ourselves and share our ethos. They have been excellent throughout the order process, helping us design the structure of the curtainsider in order to meet our needs.

“ Basically we have had every confidence in Cartwright and felt that they could be trusted to meet our requirements,” he added.
