Scania Dealer, TruckEast Limited, appoints new General Manager, Matthew Lee to head up one of its largest branches on Stewarts Road, Wellingborough.
Joining with close to 30 years experience in automotive and over 10 years specifically in commercial, Matthew brings with him a wealth of knowledge from a variety of roles held in both sales and aftersales. The most recent position was running the Wellingborough based workshop for competitor Volvo Truck & Bus, but when the position became available at TruckEast, the decision to move was clear.
In his new role, Matthew is responsible for over 70 employees, heading up its service, parts and bodyshop divisions and running the branch’s 24 hour, 14 bay workshop.

Based at the same premises for the last 18 years, TruckEast’s services have grown and expanded to support customer demands. As well as 24 hour workshop availability 6 days a week for all makes commercial repairs and maintenance, TruckEast Wellingborough offers a broad range of other services. The fully equipped site boasts a full-size ATF lane, tacho centre, truck wash and comprehensive parts store selling both Scania and all-makes VRS parts. When it comes to vehicle damage the onsite accident repair centre is capable of catering to individual needs; from minor scuffs and dents to heavy accident damage. In fact, the site lives and breathes its company mission of keeping business moving.
