Rugby-based Exact Logistics has joined the Fortec Distribution Network, further extending its offering to reinforce its market leading position, whilst maintaining its best-in-class service.
Established in 2009 by joint Managing Directors Adam and Karen Shuter, Exact Logistics is the UK final mile partner for German international transport companies as well as specialising in the collection and delivery of freight between the UK and Germany.
The 14-strong company, which has grown by consistently delivering on its promises and exceeding customers’ expectations, will be covering specific Warwickshire postcodes. T
Before setting up the business with Karen, Adam had previously worked in the logistics industry for more than 30 years.
In that time, he had built a wealth of contacts in international logistics which proved to be the catalyst for Exact Logistics’ focus on Germany.
Over time the company – which operates under the ethos of ‘We communicate, we deliver, we care’ – has established a solid reputation not only in the UK, but also in Germany – one of the UK’s largest trading partners.
Exact Logistics will transport anything from a single pallet to a full load. It can collect from anywhere in the UK for transport to and from Germany.
Although the company has previously been part of a pallet network, it was particularly attracted to Fortec due to the flexibility of its service, which matches Exact Logistics’ own flexibility.
The Fortec hub – recently the subject of a £3 million expansion which now means the network is the only one in the UK to bring both domestic and international freight under one roof – was another key selling point, as was Fortec’s close proximity to Exact Logistics – just 15 minutes away – allowing for later cut-off times.
