Maintaining fresh air circulation in all residential, commercial and industrial properties has never been so important, which is why international ventilation giant Nuaire has extended its collaborative, multi-million pound logistics relationship with inter-haul Pallet Services.

A founding member of the award-winning Pallet-Track network, Pontypridd-based Inter-haul, which has provided high-quality distribution solutions for Nuaire for almost two decades, has secured a further £15 million contract to extend the deal beyond 2026.

Nuaire’s Procurement Director, Alun Jones said: “With a diverse product range covering the unique ventilation requirements of every building, we needed a carrier who could continually provide high-performance cost-efficient distribution with a broad range of delivery solutions.

“The service provided by Inter-haul and the Pallet-Track network is superb and consistent, fully meeting the criteria for excellence that we demand – theycontinually adapt to our needs and the specific requirements of our clients.”

The monthly meetings between Nuaire and Inter-haul promote collaboration with joint projects running in the background to continually address the changing needs of this dynamic and forward-thinking business.

Fulfilment of the Nuaire distribution demand utilises overnight pallet network distribution through Pallet-Track and a contracted fleet of specially designed bespoke Inter-haul vehicles which include lorry mounted cranes, sliding bodies, and extra-large tail-lifts.

Both Nuaire and Inter-haul are agreed on the significance of information management to on-time delivery in full. The relationship between manufacturing, dispatch, and transport is extremely close with Inter-haul and Nuaire staff working alongside each other at the Nuaire premises in Caerphilly.

Inter-haul’s staff have an office at the Nuaire site and are as knowledgeable of the product and customers as they are of their vehicles and drivers – knowledge that empowers efficient loading, routing, and scheduling and ensuring an overall operation that is environmentally-friendly and economical.

With many deliveries taking place at construction sites within the M25, Inter-haul is a FORS accredited operator able to demonstrate the best practice and operational processes.

Inter-haul has also become integrated into Nuaire’s upstream supply chain, collecting materials from Nuaire’s own suppliers and transporting them to the production line. Here, Inter-haul vehicles arrive at the Nuaire production site 15 times per day ensuring that the production line is fed with the required parts and components that make up Nuaire’s high-quality products.

Inter-haul Managing Director Mark Waite believes the long relationship with Nuaire and contract extension recognises the close working relationship.

“Distribution is a key component of every manufacturing business and a professional on time service is critical. This is why we work with our customers to provide the best value distribution service, always ensuring their needs are met. Our approach gives our customers products a competitive advantage in the marketplace empowering our customers to grow and we, in turn, grow alongside them”.
