In these difficult times, it is more necessary than ever to continue to supply the country efficiently. The transportation industry is obviously vital to ensure the delivery of food, medicine and other vital necessities.

That is why AS 24, a leading fuel card and European toll supplier, is at the forefront of the vital logistics sector which support the country during the coronavirus crisis, is working hard to maintain its business as usual in order to continue to supply the transport companies with fuel.

“Safety has always been a core value at AS 24 and its parent company Total. We implemented safety measures at an early stage to ensure the well-being of our employees. We were able to anticipate working remotely by taking advantage of the experience of our French colleagues, who were confined one week before us. No less than 95% of our employees now work from home to ensure a continuous and similar service in normal times.” Says Roland Saunion, Managing Director of AS 24 UK & IRL.

“There is therefore no interruption in our activity, neither in the supply of fuel to our stations, nor in the various services we offer. We are proud to say that we are 100% operational.”

“Above all, we would like to thank the drivers and assure them of our support. They are more than ever key workers in our society.

We are constantly following the evolution of the situation in order to best meet the needs of the drivers. We are proud to help maintain the British supply chain. We are fighting together in this exceptional situation, and together we will get through it.”

AS 24 has set up actions across Europe to support the workers and thank the members of the medical teams. For example, in France, a support is being given to drivers at the AS24 stations located on truck centres with discount on food, free coffee and showers. In Poland, the company also has delivered fruit to hospitals to express its support for medical staff.

Projects continue at AS 24 with the international roll-out of its trailer tracking service FindIT. The development teams are also mobilized to ensure the finalization of the PASSango Toll offer in Germany, as well as the opening of new stations dedicated to HGV transporters, which are now reaching almost 1,000 stations, in addition to the 15,000 partner stations accessible through Eurotrafic.

“We continue to develop new projects because, beyond COVID-19, there will still be a huge demand for quality service and network from existing and new customers looking for efficiency”, added Roland Saunion.
