Turf grower and supplier Quicklawn has purchased a brand new Loadmac 825iSR, becoming the second Loadmac to join their fleet following their first purchase in 2015.

Based in Northumberland with a fleet of three vehicles, Quicklawn has been supplying turf throughout the North of England for over twenty years. The new Loadmac will replace a competitor product currently on the fleet and Quicklawn Transport Manager Barry Appleby explained the reasons for their choice: “The machines are incredible and I’m impressed with the stability and how the machine operates. It is so hard to find a truck mounted forklift with such good handling for such an affordable price”

Launched in 2010 the Loadmac 825iSR boasts 2500kg lifting capacity, up to 3600mm lift height and one-side offload. Barry Appleby explained why the truck mounted forklift concept works for Quicklawn’s operation: “We love having instant access to a forklift when travelling to clients.”

Appleby continued: “At any one time we have up to 1 million square metres of cultivated turf in production so we need a machine that is up to the job. With the Loadmac we can use it in the yard, on the fields, and on site. Due to its size and mount it’s good for narrow roads where you would struggle to get a forklift through too. And the one side offload means we can get the job done quickly and efficiently.”

Loadmac Sales and Marketing Manager, Chloe Hignett commented, “We pride ourselves on the quality, performance and value of our Loadmac product – and that’s why the machine is manufactured entirely in Britain at our purpose-built factory in Ross-on-Wye. It is wonderful to hear Barry and Quicklawn’s positive feedback and we are thrilled to be supplying them with their second Loadmac machine.”
