Next generation bakery Roberts is literally getting the ‘dough on the road’ after overhauling its delivery vehicle livery.

Eight of its fleet are now taking Roberts’ striking signature identity and quirky personality and attitude out on the nation’s roads when they deliver the most exciting bakes and longstanding family favourites to all major supermarkets and convenience stores across the UK.

Its entire 90-strong fleet will receive the new scheme during 2020.

Roberts bakery’s new livery designs are based on the brand’s bold and bright colourways. Its Early Bird mascot also takes centre stage by telling the world just how the brand is ‘shaking up baking’ – ‘going against the grain’ and ‘challenging stale thinking’ within the category to give shoppers more interesting and relevant baked goods by “rolling out fresh ideas” time and time again.

And, just like on the website, Early Bird calls out to consumers to contact Roberts with their own bakery ideas, cravings and questions.

Stuart Spencer-Calnan, Managing Director at Roberts bakery, said: “We recently invested heavily in a radical rebrand and this is the latest stage of its roll out.

“Our delivery fleet covers thousands of miles every day and is seen by so many people. So, it’s essential that the modern, innovative, next generation brand that we now are is communicated through all touchpoints and channels.

“We’d like to think that the new designs will attract attention and brighten the bleakest of journeys or jams – not to mention our Early Bird raising a smile with its cheeky soundbites, call out for ideas and promises for the brightest future of bakery.”
