Leading manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus UK has delivered an MAN TGM 18.250 to Stalbridge Building Supplies to meet customer demands.

The independent builders merchant company based in Blackmore Vale, Stalbridge, purchased the MAN TGM 18.250 with a rear mounted Hiab XS 077 Duo Crane as a vehicle replacement to meet increasing customer demand.  The truck with fitted Duo Crane has up to 2850kg lifting capacity at 2.6m. It also has been supplied with a remote control for the crane allowing more accuracy and safety as the operator is able to move with the load.

The company serves the local community with all aspects of construction materials and garden supplies, including DIY materials and equipment, as well as stocking a range of hire equipment.

Helen Hatcher, director at Stalbridge Building Supplies, said: “We were very impressed with the quality of this vehicle along with the support and guidance of the sales staff at MAN and the dealer, SMV Commercials .

“MAN gave us the most in terms of reliability, fuel economy, suitability and performance, as well as being an attractive addition to our fleet.

“This vehicle will be put to use across Dorset mainly providing local deliveries for bulk orders of aggregates top soil, making the MAN TGM with DUO Crane and remote control a suitable and valuable addition to our fleet.

“Our experience with MAN has been excellent and we will certainly look to return to them in the future for new vehicles.”
