As part of its recent UK dealer expansion programme, leading commercial vehicle manufacturer Isuzu Truck UK has announced that Isuzu Central, an operating division of Allports Group, has now been appointed as a full sales, service and parts dealer for the Isuzu Truck marque in the North Midlands, covering Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
Isuzu Central will be representing ITUK, with the company handling both truck product sales and after sales service from the Allports Group 4-acre dealer site in Stoke.
“Working closely with the Allports Group, we were keen to raise the profile of Isuzu in this area as an additional and complimentary activity to Allports’ existing business and we look forward to Isuzu Central becoming the first port of call for our truck range in this area,” said Richard Waterworth, head of sales, Isuzu Truck UK.

The Allports Group has been operating from its site in Stoke-on-Trent since 2008 and today the company employs 24 staff at this location. With a six bay workshop, roller brake testing, 24-hour breakdown, mobile parts and service vans, together with extended opening hours, Isuzu Central will be offering the full range of Isuzu trucks covering all the different market sectors and weight ranges, supported by full contract hire and rental options.
“This is a really exciting development for us as a company as it enables us to offer a complementary product range to bring to the marketplace. We will be selling Isuzu trucks from 3.5 tonne right up to 13.5 tonne through our established branch in Stoke and it is our intention to significantly increase the market penetration for Isuzu in our dealer area, as well as providing even higher levels of after sales support to customers,” said Mark Sanders, director, Allports Group.
