Hauliers Nagel Langdons have helped deliver over 20m meals worth of food to food charity FareShare over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic. During the crisis the hauliers stepped up their support – delivering over 8430 tonnes of surplus and donated food from the food industry to FareShare’s network of warehouses – which, in turn, sent this food out to more than 11,0000 frontline charities,  including food banks, domestic violence refuges and community centres.

FareShare CEO, Lindsay Boswell, said: “Nagel Langdons are one our most committed partners, and have been supporting FareShare for over seven years. During the pandemic they acted swiftly to help us deliver an incredible emergency response – ferrying food the length and breadth of the country so we could get it to communities decimated by the effects of the pandemic. Thanks to Nagel Langdons and generous partners like them millions more people have been able to put food on the table during this extraordinarily tough time.”

Rupert Ryall, Nagel Langdons Ltd Sales Director, said: “Nagel Langdons has formed a close working partnership with FareShare over many years and are happy supporting them in this highly worthwhile project.”
