Double win for Cartwright Group

The Cartwright Group won two awards at the recent Made in the North West Awards ceremony at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. The event was hosted by BBC sport presenter Manish Bhasin.

Cartwright is constantly seeking new ways to improve its production processes leading the company’s rapid growth in recent years and confirm its position of leading trailer and commercial vehicle body manufacturer offering a “one stop shop” solution.

Being awarded the Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m) demonstrated the Group’s achievements.

Cartwright’s investment in developing dedication for young people was recognised with the Manufacturing Apprenticeship/Training Scheme award. With over 200 apprentices that have passed through the doors of the Cartwright Group since 2012, they are a strong believer in developing the potential of their apprentices.

Mark Cartwright, Group Managing Director, said: “I am delighted that our achievements have been recognised– to win two awards on the same night is an honour.
