Leading, fast-growing and privately-owned logistics operator Europa Worldwide Group has extended its long-term relationship with international drug and cosmetics company, E.T. Browne – as part of its Europa Warehouse division.

E.T. Browne produces the renowned Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula, along with many other products under the Palmer’s brand. These include body care, pregnancy and baby care, as well as hair, foot, face and lip care. Palmer’s has a global presence, is available in over 80 countries and is the number 1 Cocoa Butter brand in the world.

The contract involves the storage of goods for E.T. Browne UK, picking and packing, as well as distribution of products to retailers, ranging from small outlets to large supermarket chains.

Up to 2,500 pallets will be stored at Europa’s Dartford warehouse. The business also operates award winning facilities in Northampton, Rushden and Birmingham. Orders are prepared on an individual basis, with specific weights, labelling and layouts tailored to customer requirements. There are currently 175 Skus including body lotions and hair products stored on site.

Europa’s Dartford warehouse has a total racked storage capacity of 25,000 pallet spaces, built to accommodate pallets up to eight levels, with very narrow aisles (VNA) to maximise space. Pallet handling in the racking is served by wire guided, man up VNA trucks.

The site benefits from direct input into its European and domestics networks, its close proximity to UK ports, reduced domestic collection costs and later picking cut-off times – all working to create a more efficient offering from the Europa Warehouse division.

Maria Torrent-March, Logistics Director for Europa Warehouse, said: “Europa Warehouse has supported E.T. Browne for the last 15 years. As one of our long-standing clients, we are therefore delighted that our relationship is set to continue. The renewing of the contract for the next three years is testament to our workforce who provide a dedicated, efficient and effective service.”

Paul Johns, Managing Director at E.T. Browne UK, said: “Ensuring quick and reliable delivery of our products plus safe and efficient storage is vital. Europa Warehouse has consistently supported our product pipeline by ensuring that we meet our customers’ very demanding service requirements. As such, we are confident in our appointment of Europa Warehouse for the next three years and look forward to continuing our relationship in the future.”
