Bakewell based transport company K & H Haulage has become the latest operator to choose Loadmac for their truck mounted forklift requirements, with the purchase of two new machines in late 2017. K & H Transport Director Peter Lowery explained, “The Loadmac is an impressive machine, does everything we need it to do and at the right price too.”

With a fleet of 25 vehicles and five truck-mounted forklifts, K & H Haulage has been completing general haulage operations throughout the UK and Europe since 1971. Of the two recently purchased Loadmacs, one will replace a rival brand as part of on-going fleet replenishment, with another added to meet growing customer demand.

Designed and manufactured in Ross on Wye, Loadmac claims to be the only machine in its class to offer true one side off-load, meaning a superior reach can unload both sides of a trailer from just one side of the vehicle. This capability has proven to be a stand-out feature for Peter Lowery, “The one-side off load is a huge asset for our daily operations. That was a big factor in convincing us the Loadmac was the right choice for us”.

Peter continued, “The ease of operation and comfort levels definitely make them the preferred choice for our drivers too. We’ve also been very impressed with the attentiveness of our local dealer Plant Equipment and although we haven’t had any problems, I’m confident they would be there to swiftly resolve any issues if they occurred.”

Loadmac Managing Director Ian Chapman commented, “Our team works tirelessly in Ross on Wye to manufacture an unrivalled product, so it is always fantastic to hear the type of feedback we’ve received from K & H Haulage. We look forward to developing a long and successful working relationship with them.”
