Established in 1978 with primary involvement in the restoration of collectable motor and racing cars, Procar today offers a wide range of services, from specialist vehicle movements and specialist import and export to third party logistics, event support and fleet management to the collectable and racing motor industry. Operating in an environment characterised by urgent requests and short turnaround requirements, Procar sought to establish its own freight forwarding operations to improve operational control and save costs. It selected Descartes’ hosted Netfreight software to effectively manage the planning and execution of all its import and export shipments.
